"Kickstart your healthy living plan with a trip to the 23rd annual Health Fair"

Saturday, March 28, 2020 - 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre, Owen Sound

About Us

The Owen Sound Health Fair started in 1997 as an initiative of the PPG Wellness group, along with major manufacturing facilities in an effort to provide Health and Wellness information for employees of Owen Sound manufacturing facilities.

The first Health Fair was open to the public, but the majority of the attendees were from industry.
In the following year, the Health Fair evolved into a public forum held in the spring and over time, the focus changed from health in the workplace, to health and wellness within the overall community of Owen Sound and area.

Over the years, the Health Fair has grown in size to include 84+ exhibitors and attendance has increased to approximately 1,600 people.

The Health Fair, over the years, has been supported by the Sponsors and Exhibitors, and continues to operate on the basis of Free Admission to All.

Exhibitor Testimonials

Exhibitor Testimonials

Lots of information available in a variety of subjects & people seem to be interested in seeking out info on subjects of interest to their particular problem

Love being part of this health fair. I enjoyed the Fresh Roots food vendor option from CMHA.

Another great year for the Health Fair. Community members that stopped by shared how much they enjoyed the event and were glad to see so many exhibitors.

Excellent as usual

We love the marketing and educating value that we can give to people at the health fair. We sponsor every year.

Attendance always seems to be good & people eager to stop and talk in subjects that interest them.

Excellent way to introduce people to new and existing services and learn first-hand about accessing those services.

Fantastic event and I look forward to it each year.

To be involved in this health fair is very important to my business within this community.

I think it’s very necessary to have these for our community. It is great to know that we have an outlet to find health related information and answers and alternatives to health issues. I love that we can be a part of it.

The health fair means connecting with people in my community that may not yet know about my business.

The Health Fair was another great success. Kudos to the committee for planning such an important event for community members to come out to and be able to engage with such a variety of supports for health and wellness.

Our purpose is to inform people about improving their health and we always find people who are willing to listen.

This Health Fair is always very organized and well run. We consider it a very important event to help us raise the awareness of Bladder Cancer in rural Ontario.

The Health Fair is a great opportunity for people to meet and get know what we do with our therapy dogs. We always get some pets and sometimes people wanting information about joining our group as well as new locations for us to visit.

It helps with business growth, making new connections, reaffirming old ones, and nice to see the community come together.
